He was predeceased by: his father Julian Wade Calhoon; his brother Joe Denton (Dorothy Denton); and also Mike Russell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Denton; his daughters, Bonnie Harper (John) of Elaine and Belinda Russell of Marvell, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Joey Russell (Maggie), Clay Harper (Hunter), Michael Russell (Cassie), Casey Harper and Cody Russell (Emily); his great grandchildren, Carter Harper, Nash Harper, Macie Gibbs, Weston Davis, Briggs Russell, Tessa Marshall and Adaline Bourland; and his brothers, Dr. Dale Calhoon (JoAnna) of Jacksonville and Tony Calhoon of Dayton.
