He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Emerson Barnes and Helen May Pitts Barnes; and his sister Glenna Billingsley. He is survived by: his wife Fay; his children, Lee Neil Barnes (Leigh) of West Helena and Stephanie Rae Thomas (Brian) of Lexa; his grandchildren, Eryn Pittman (Sam), Drake Norman (Sophia), Grayson Thomas, Matthew Barnes, Lindy Kate Barnes, Olivia Barnes and Mary Fisher Barnes; and his great grandchild Sam Allen Pittman, IV.
