He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Kirkland and Sue Kirkland; and his daughter Amanda Jo Kirkland Roberts. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Dee Kirkland, Sr. of El Paso and Dustin Clardy (Peyton) of Grenada, Mississippi; his sisters, Debbie Atkinson (Ken) of Conway, Deeann Fleck (Marvin) of El Paso and Melinda McHam of Conway; his grandchildren, Mikey Kirkland (Sara) of Atkins, Arkansas, Jake Kirkland of Atkins, Arkansas and Kassy Kirkland of Quitman, Arkansas; his close friend Carolyn Fredrick of El Paso; and the mother of his children Joann Clardy of El Paso. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
