As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Kelly Varnell and Thomas H. Varnell; his sister Carolyn Dzurik; and his son David Varnell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Marcy; and his grandchild Dr. Skyler McCoy. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Directors. A rosary was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (440 W Main St, El Dorado, AR 71730).
Memorial gifts would be greatly appreciated instead of flowers for Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the donor's personal choice.
