He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Frank Townsend Jr. and Eserlean Townsend; and his siblings, Frankie Jean Gill, Ruth Anne Goodwin and Willie C. Townsend.
He is survived by: his children, Nigel McGhee (Brittany) and Cecilia McGhee of El Dorado, AR; his close friend Denise Eason; his son-in-law William Eason of Lonoke, AR.; his grandchildren, Jaley, Ta'Nyah McGhee, L'Nya, Khloe, Ka'Leya Eason and Dariun Eason; and his siblings, Alfred, Albert, Joe Townsend of El Dorado, AR, Henri Etta Brown (Courtney) of Sherwood, AR, Estella Crew of Dallas, TX, Ada Green of El Dorado, AR and Maxine Lewis of El Dorado, AR.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sims Mortuary (432 W Liberty St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Morning Star Baptist Church #2 (2506 N. College, El Dorado, AR 71730).
