It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Christene Davis of El Dorado, Arkansas, born in Strong, Arkansas, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Marvin Duke and Vadie Garner Duke; her husband O'Neil Davis; her brothers, Bud and Charles Duke; her grandson David Maddry; and her great grandchild Makayla Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Maddry (Mike) of Sulphur Springs, TX, James Davis (Janice) of El Dorado and Clifton Davis (Genell) of Rison, AR; her grandchildren, Aimee Hicks (Tracy) of Tomball, TX, John Butch Maddry (Jordan) of Richardson, TX, Christy Strange (Robert) of El Dorado, Christopher Davis, Jessica Tominio (Alex) of El Dorado, Erika Keene (Colin) of El Dorado, Sassy Socia (Brandon) of Rison, AR and Alisa Clark (Andrew); and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Davis. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
