She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Bluford Jr. and Oicelean Bowman Bluford; her husband Willie B. Armstrong; her siblings, Major Bluford III, Evette Cox and Shirley Waller; her son Willie Bernard Armstrong; her niece Valeria Carr; and her nephew Tony Cox.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Bluford; her daughter Laurie Waller (Greg); her aunt Ellen Jackson; her grandchildren, Ashley Moore (Tre'manta), Jeffery Armstrong (Zhivonne), Roderick Armstrong and Gregory Waller (Brittany); and her niece Tina Bluford. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sims Mortuary (432 W Liberty St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
