He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Mayhan and Bessie Gordon Mayhan; his wife Adah Mayhan; his sons, Steven Edward Mayhan and William Ray Mayhan; and his siblings, Jean McGhee of Sheridan, James B. Mayhan and Dale Mayhan.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Greer; his grandsons, Allen Pearson of Elm Grove and Eric Pearson (Shannon) of Smackover; his great grandchildren, Katherine Pearson, Zackley Pearson, Nathan Pearson and Whit Pearson; and his sisters-in-law, Ruthann Mayhan of Mabelvale, Nell Mayhan of Birmingham, Betty Taylor (Bob) of Memphis, Ann Poteet of Little Rock and Jimmie Carter (Dale) of Little Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (3209 W Hillsboro St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
