It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Agans of El Dorado, Arkansas, born in Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Randall William Agans. He is survived by: his wife Susan Propst Agans; his children, Chad Agans (Angie) of Bondurant, IA, David Agans (Jamila) of Dallas, TX, Tracy Agans (Rhonda) of El Dorado, AR, John Agans of El Dorado, AR and Heather Agans (Ken Brooks); and his sister Marilyn Brobst. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - El Dorado (400 N College Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
