He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Essiebelle Horton Wood; his son Benjy Thelan Wood; and his siblings, Bula Wood Williams and Kennie Ray Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Webb Wood; and his children, Leah Shryock and Mark Timothy Wood, Sr. (Jody) of El Dorado. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
