We bid farewell to Lawrence Waschka (El Dorado, Arkansas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2024 at the age of 84. Lawrence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Waschka and Elizabeth Ogilvie Waschka; his wife Julia Wood Waschka; and his children, LeeAnn Patterson Herndon and Larry Waschka.

He is survived by: his sons, Paul Waschka (Robin Jeter) of El Dorado and Robert Patterson (Susan) of Centreville, VA; and his grandchildren, Lacy, Caroline, Annabelle and Lily.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Young's Chapel (508 Champagnolle Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Arkansas Arts Center (110 E 5th St, El Dorado, AR 71730).
