She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Tina Ray McGough; and her siblings, Charles Clark McGough and Marie Buchanan. She is survived by: her husband Benny Cox; her daughters, Benita Burton (Steve) and Becki Schultz; her grandsons, Clark Burton (Alison), Ross Burton (Kaci), Trey Schultz (Gisela) and Forrest Schultz (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Tripp Burton, Chance Burton, Chet Burton, Ryder Schultz and Caroline Schultz.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smackover Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (3209 W Hillsboro St, El Dorado, AR 71730).
