It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arlin Waterston of El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Louis and Margaret Estelle Waterston (Gilmore); his former wife Clarice Rose Waterston (Hinds); and his wife Mable Clarinda Waterston (Laney). He is survived by: his daughters, Terrie Jan Waterston Mills (John Everett Mills) of Springdale, Arkansas and Debra Lynn Waterston Floyd (David Clayton Floyd) of El Dorado, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Amanda Eve Lancaster Sedighi and Dennis Wayne Hicks; his great grandchildren, Trevor Alan Scott and Brandon Tyler Scott; and his sister Bennie Jan Waterston Cason of Brentwood, Tennessee. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
