It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elinor Ruth Cheatham (El Dorado, Arkansas), who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse George Dayton Cheatham; her daughter Sharon Ruth Cheatham; and her siblings, Wendell Launius, James Launius and Dorothy Birmingham.
She is survived by: her children, Sharolyn Givens (Robert), George Cheatham, Jr. (Judy), David Cheatham (Eleanor), Bob Cheatham (LeAnne), Gary Cheatham and El Dorado; her grandchildren, Chris Thomas of El Dorado, Stacy Thomas Givens of State College, PA, Dayton Cheatham of Greensboro, NC, Sarah Hampton Cheatham of Silver Springs, MD, Emmie Cheatham of Vancouver, Catherine Cheatham of Atlanta, GA, Caroline Everett (John), Matthew Cheatham of Newnan, GA, Patricia Cheatham of Champaign, IL and John Cheatham; her brother Roland Launius of Little Rock, AR; and her nephew Jim Thrash.
