With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Owens of El Dorado, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Chester and Mary Lee Vaughn Owens; and his daughter Christy Owens. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McHan Owens; his children, Stephanie Knight and Kevin Owens; his grandchildren, Joe Knight, Kayla Harrington (Shane), Charles Owens, Jr., Josh Owens, Alexis Gulledge (Kurt), Nikolle Knight and Brayden Owens; his great grandchildren, Kailah Knight, Layton Hightower, Sleyter Harrington and Copeland Hightower; and his siblings, Shirley Clark, Lamar Owens (Debbie), Sally Johnson, Billy Owens and Patricia Priest. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Young's Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
