Betty Catherine May Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Catherine May of El Dorado, Arkansas, born in Star City, Arkansas, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gean and Dora Lee McCool Gean; her husband Winfred "Winkie" May; and her sisters, Leta Mae Gean, Hazel Gean Reeves and Diane Bogard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Turner of Norphlet and Karrie Cates (Allen) of El Dorado; her grandchildren, Brandon Turner of Hampton, Lauren Boyd (Dan) of Downsville, LA, Reagan Cates of Fayetteville and Reid Cates of El Dorado; her great grandchild Pierce Boyd; and her brother Herbert Gean (Carolyn) of Greenbrier.
