She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Gaines and Gladys Gaines; her husband Lloyd Knighten; her son Mitchell Knighten; and her siblings, Robert Lee Gaines and Mildred Holt.
She is survived by: her sister Trilby; and her son Robert.
