It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Hicks of East End, Arkansas, born in Dermott, Arkansas, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Cliff McGathy; her husband Lester Hicks; and her brother Jeff McGathy. She is survived by: her sons, DeWayne Hicks (Marie) of Paris, AR and Joe Hicks (Cindy) of Springdale, AR; her siblings, Vickie Zigler of Benton, AR, Anita Spears and Dave McGathy of Castroville, TX; and her grandchildren, Shane of Alexander, Kriston of Benton, Caitlyn and Zane of Springdale. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
