He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Bell Watson (Posey) and Charles G. Watson of Earle; his wife Linda Gail Watson; and his son Steve William Watson. He is survived by: his children, Robert Mark Watson, Paul Scott Watson (Joyce), Stacey Lynn Jenkins (Brian) and Lora Beth Watson (Shawn Williams); his stepchildren, Michael R. Avery, Jacki M. Penny (Keoki) and Charles E. Avery; his sister Gloria Willis; and his siblings-in-law, Jerrie Jo Goldsmith and John Thomas Cantrell III (Kenneth Lee Renick). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
