She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Leonard and Mamie Leonard; her husband Jerry Newingham; her son Tommy Newingham; and her brother Jimmy Leonard (Big Daddy).

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Newingham (Mary) and Kristy Gibbs (Jody); her grandchildren, Hailee Simmons (Chaz), Justin Gibbs, Austin Gibbs, Bella Newingham, Leeland Brown, Cole Newingham and Ashton Brown; her great grandchild Blakelee Simmons; and her siblings, Jerry Leonard (Nancy) and Jana Harrison (James).
