He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dennis, and Dorothy Dennis, Sr. (Czarnikow); his birth father Bertie Avery Wofford; and his siblings, Doris Tanner, Donnie Dennis, James Dennis, Jr., Norwin Ray Wofford and Avery Lucky Wofford.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Dennis; his children, Terry Holton (Troy) of Harrison, Tammy Mireles (Joe) of Evant, TX, Tina Gardner of Harrison and Billy Dennis, Jr. (Veronica) of Little Elm, TX; and his sisters, Sharylon Gilstrap (Bobby) of Van Buren, Paula Hattabaugh (Darrell) of Mulberry and Lana Kay Lamproe of Roland. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren, five furbabies, and many other friends.
