She is survived by: her husband Rene Tamayo Castaneda (Tex); her children, Armando Montemayor, Greg Castaneda (Diana) of Indio and Helen Castaneda of Dumas; and her sister Maria Ochas of King City. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
