He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kwon, Audreanna, Jasmine and Shaquille; his wife Betty Jo Austin; his children, Wilbert Austin Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Gregory Austin of Reed, AR, Craig Austin of Reed, AR, Deborah McGehee of Reed, AR and Cynthia Fields (LaShoy) of Reed, AR; his siblings, George Austin (Travis) of Reed, AR, Willie Mae Johnson (Paul) of Union City, CA, Ilivia Horn of Detroit, MI, Helen Degraffenreed (Robert) of Detroit, MI and Shirley Austin of Monticello, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Young of Reed, AR, Naudean Austin of Topeka, KS, Sharon Young of Reed, AR, Willie Jo Young of Reed, AR and Mary Grace Young of Little Rock, AR.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Serenity Gardens Funeral Services (136 St. Hwy 159 N, Dumas, AR 71639). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bailey Chapel MB Church East 2nd. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Seven Star Cemetery.
