He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jones Sr. and Minnie Williams; and his brother Joe Lee Williams. He is survived by: his siblings, Eddie Briggs (Iola), Paul Jones, Jr. (Gertina), Maurice Williams, Larry Williams (Angelia), Juanita Jackson (Joseph) and Linda Jones-Thomas (Bobby); and his adoptive mother Flossie Greene. He is also survived by children, but he had a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
