It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxwell L Hill of Dumas, Arkansas, born in Lonoke, Arkansas, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Lee and Beulah Napier Hill; his wife Margie Sue Moreland Hill; his son Dwight Lee Hill; and his brothers, Gene, Norwood, Jude, Bo and Tossie Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Hal Stanley Hill (Sherry) of Dumas and Marilyn Ann Martin (Ted) of Dumas; and his siblings, Beulah Mae Pearson of Cabot, Ted Hill of Dumas, Rich Hill of Cabot and Sonny Hill of Summerville, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A walk-through visitation, due to Covid, will be Monday, November 22, 2021, from 1:30-2:00pm at Hopedale Missionary Baptist Church in Winchester with graveside service at 2:00pm at Hopedale Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Brewster officiating.
