He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Eugene and Rettie Mae Atkins; and his sister Juanita Atkins Ford. He is survived by: his former wife Jane Warner Atkins; his wife Dee Atkins of Dumas, AR; his daughters, Michelle Chambers (David) of Dumas, AR and Tammie Limoges (Paul) of Denver, CO.; and his close friend Gifford Godfrey. He is also survived by children also gave him many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tammie and family sent him frequent family picture cards from their worldly travels through the years and also during the pandemic when no one was allowed to visit him.
