He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Wayne Patterson. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Kendrick; his stepfather Glenn Maxwell of Crossett; his children, Nick Smith of Little Rock and Allison of Dumas; his brother Dustin Smith of Crossett; and his grandchild Oaklan Smith. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
