He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Freeman and Leota Smith; and his sister Jane Freeman Shalles. He is survived by: his sisters, Audley Freeman Johnson and Maurine Freeman Price; his wife Nelline Campbell Freeman of Dumas; and his children, Nancy Freeman McGraw (Rick) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Linda Freeman Cruce (Warner) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Bettye Ann Freeman of Little Rock, Arkansas and John Freeman (Rachel) of Dumas, Arkansas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
