She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Stewart-Smith and Lillie Ruth Stewart-Smith; her siblings, Leroy Smith and Lillie B. Smith; and her grandson Edwin Swan.

She is survived by: her children, Marvin Griswold (Erika) of Pine Bluff, Jeffery Griswold (Taushia) of Jackson, Michelle Griswold-Davis (Brandon) of Pine Bluff and Kristy Griswold of College Station; her brothers, Rev. Johnny Smith Sr. of Dumas and Charles Moye (Linda) of Kansas City; her aunt Rosie Pickett of Dumas; and her nieces and nephews, Kimbla Calvin, Tanya Pugh, Krystal Kennedy, Latriva Pugh and Steven Mitchell Sr.. She is also survived by grandchildren and (5) great grandchildren.
