She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Johnson Sr. and Velma Lee Robinson Johnson; her children, Leola Turks and Edward Turks Sr.; her grandsons, Dewayne Jones and Edward Turks Jr.; and her brothers, Alonzo Johnson, Rayford Johnson and Nelson Johnson Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Jones of Milwaukee, WI, Iola Briggs (Eddie) of Dumas, AR, Demetree Ricks of West Memphis, AR. and Leron Turks Jr. of Dumas, AR; her grandchildren, Patrice Turks Holley of Benton, AR, Artoris Ricks and Jakayla Nalls of McGehee, AR.; and her sisters, Savannah Vessel of Oakland, CA. and Elvira Foster of Oakland, CA.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 36 great grands, 12 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
