He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy McCarty and Bessie DeFoor McCarty; his wife Marlene Hipp McCarty; his sons, David McCarty (Tammy) of Drasco and Lynn McCarty (Lana) of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Dayton McCarty (Lauren) of Drasco, Savannah Paul (Ryan) of Batesville, Landon Cornett (Brooke) of Concord and Kelsey Freeman of Drasco. He was also cherished by 6 great grandchildren.
