He was predeceased by: his parents, Huie Thelbert and Reba Viola Davis Dixon; his siblings, Thelbert, Dewayne, Chester Dixon, Lucille Roberts, Lula Bell Cross, Ruby Nell Duvall and Linda Dixon; and his daughter Shauntell Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brown Dixon; his children, William Dixon of Hector, Mark (Becky Dixon), Scott (Brandy Dixon) and Tina Dixon of Dover; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth, Henrey Logan and Geneva Dixon. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
