She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennett Bolton and Wilma Hogaboom Block; and her husband Robert Brown Parkes of Louisville, MS. She is survived by: her children, Roger Brown Parkes (Pam) of Jackson, MS, Robert Stephen Parkes (Lisa) of Dover, AR and Susan Parkes Lind (Chip) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
