She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Dickens; her daughter Sherry Sherman; her siblings, Helen Mayhew, Andrew Tillery, Frances Hughes, Lemon Tillery and Franklin Tillery; her grandson Evan LaRue; her sons-in-law, Steven Craig Garrison and James LaRue; and her great grandchildren, Autumn Hall and Niko Portillo.
She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Barbara LaRue of Dover, Joann Jr, Claude Garrison Jr. of Delaware, Kim Harris and David Harris of Dover; her sister Mary Alice Crow of Hondo; her grandchildren, Tonya Jones, Bradley Smith, Ronnie Sherman, Carrie Clark (John), Jerica Portillo (Edgar), Justin Harris and Matthew Harris; and her great grandchild Karleigh Jones.
