He is survived by: his siblings, Marie (Vernon Ahrens), Frances McGaha, Ethel (Clyde Ward), Rubart Wells of Branford and Hershel Wells of Clarkton; and his children, Jerry Wells of Dunedin, Gene Wells (Donna) of Charlotte, Joann of Clearwater and Janie of Oklahoma City.
