He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Charles and Naomi Edessa Race (Chasteen); his wife Loretta Race (Scrivner); his siblings, Charles, William, Howard, Jackie Race, Eleanor Wheeler and Barbara Strand; and his great grandchildren, Lindyn and Leora Grace McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, David Race (Denise) of Dallas, Joe Race (Lawonna) of Dover, Eddie Race of Dover, Wilson Race of Russellville, Robert Race (Patricia) of Siloam Springs, Janis Bigelow (Ed) of Dover and Milda McCutcheon (Kenny) of Hector; his grandchildren, Jonathan Race, Ean Bigelow, Morgan Race, Warren Race, Amber McDaniel, Shawna Crain, Derek Race, Brent Race, Austin Race, Madison Thurstenson, Noah Race, Carlee Gray, Bradley McCutcheon, Kolten McCutcheon and Tiffaney Van Horn; his great grandchildren, Adelyn Race, Scotland Race, Theodore Race, Jonah Race, Brittyn Race, Ruth Bigelow, Lincoln McDaniel, Liam McDaniel, Alayna Gray, Callen Gray, Brantley Gray, Ramsey Gray, Rhett McCutcheon, Emma McCutcheon, Kailey Van Horn and Jaxon Van Horn; and his siblings, Tommy Race (Mary) of Dardanelle and MaryAnn Watson (Richard) of Hot Springs.
