He was predeceased by: his parents, George LeRoy Cox Sr. and Virginia Sparrow; and his siblings, Juanita Schaeffer, Richard Cox, Fred Cox, William Cox and Bonnie Mennes.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Cox; his children, Candy Brecht (Jerry), Brian Cox (Jolyn), Jean Skora (Steve), Jane Segura (Pedro) and Micheal Cox (DeAnna); and his sisters, Maryann, Connie, Leonna and Thelma. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
