We bid farewell to Clay Chaney of Dover, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 56. Clay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Norman, Shirley Chaney of Cassville, Roscoe and Elloease Elder of Coffeyville, Kansas; and his uncle Jim Elder of Coffeyville, Kansas..
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Chaney and Becky Chaney (Elder) of Wesley, Arkansas; his wife Cheryl Chaney of Dover; and his sister Stephanie Chaney of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Shinn Chapel (800 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72802). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (21778 State Hwy 112, Cassville, MO 65625).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Orr, Natural State Council, 3220 Cantrell Rd, Little Rock, AR 72202. "Camp Orr" will need to be specified on the donation.
