He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Conrad Evans and Hattie Mae Freeman Evans; and his siblings, Eva Mae Evans Driver, Robbie Nell Evans Kordie and Hubert Wayne Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth "Lois" Campbell Evans; his sons, Stony Evans (Cindy) of Bismarck and Jody Evans of Arkadelphia; and his siblings, James Evans (Jean), Don Evans (Delores) of Mobile, Erie Marks (Walley) of Mobile, Ouida Thomas (Charles) of Orange, Virginia Ross (William) of Saraland and Rita Harrison (Marvin) of Axis, Alabama..
