He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gideon of Washington and Rosie Lee Gideon (Proctor); his former wife Wilma Gideon; and his brothers, Alvin, Paul and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Gideon; his children, Billy Gideon, George Gideon, Darlene Tritt (Ron) and Robin Herron (Tommy); his brother Jess Gideon (Barbara); his grandchildren, Cherie, Kris, Keara (Jared), Kyle (Jessie) and B. J.; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin, Joshua, Chloe, Kaidan, Corbin and Hank; and his great great grandchildren, Andrew and Cambrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
