David Matthews Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to David Matthews of Donaldson, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Matthews and Alta Sue Williams Matthews; and his great-grandparents, Conar Garland (Sam), Ressie Taylor Matthews, Homer and Eula Basham Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Susan "Jan" Matthews of Paducah, KY, Michael Matthews of DuQuoin, IL and Justun Matthews of Arkansas; his brothers, Jerry Matthews (Brenda) of Malvern, Richard Matthews (Charlotte) of Donaldson and Mark Matthews of Friendship; his grandchildren, Kayle Armstrong, Madison Matthews, Lauren Matthews, Reese Matthews and Riley Matthews; and his aunt Betty Williams McDade of San Manuel, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
