She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dail and Mary Sue Parks. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Lee Dale Yerby, Jonathan Durnell Yerby (Sharon Bolan-Yerby) and Amy Sue Yerby; her siblings, Larry Parks (Donna), Sandra Parks, Carol Smith (Brad), Patsy Whatley (Dexter), David Parks (Jeanette) and Linda Horton (Dutch); and her grandchildren, Ashlee Jane Brown, Adrian Stephenson, Emily Jane Reimer, Grace Sophia Yerby, Ryan Galloway, Ethan Martin and Taylor Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and her faithful companion.
