He was predeceased by: his son Donald Scruggs; and his granddaughter Courtney Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Scruggs of Doddridge; his children, Todd Scruggs (Stephanie) of Magnolia and Pam Durham (David) of Doddridge; and his grandchildren, Brittany Corley, Aimee White, April Durham, Sydney Scruggs and Lainey Scruggs. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
