He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Smith and Bertie Smith; his siblings, Milton Smith (Verna), Lorene Kinslow (Glenn), Virginia Henslee (Buddy) and Mona Taylor (J. L.); his son-in-law Ken Pillow; and his former wife Betty Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Smith; his children, Cindy Cauthorn (Jackie), Gary Smith (Becky), Jeff Smith (Tammie), Janell Ferguson (Kasey), Jason Carroll (Bobbi), Josh Carroll (Danielle) and Amanda; his brother Bennie Smith (Martha); his grandchildren, Kim Beasley, Jon Cauthorn (Kasi), Steve Smith (Valerie), Courtney Kesler (Caleb), Melissa Martin (Chase), Kevin Smith, Justin Campbell (Cristina), Devin Campbell, Kaleb Daniels, Aaron Hunnicutt (Brooke), Makayla Power, Kaden Carroll, Kobey Carroll, Tylar Carroll, Anna Carroll, Diezel Carroll, Bailey Pillow and Jaden Pillow; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Conner Beasley, Lilah Thibodeaux, Natalie Cauthorn, Jackson Cauthorn, Tyson Thompson, Kole Cauthorn, Ella Cauthorn, Gunner Cauthorn, Grayson Cauthorn, Zane Baker (Baile Reinsch), Knox Smith, Emory Kesler, Nora Kesler, Ellie Martin, Beckham Martin, Everlee Jenkins and Archer Hunnicutt. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
