She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Byron McDonald and Imogene McDonald of Ida, Louisiana.; her husband Kevin Douglass of Doddridge, Arkansas.; her sister Cherry McCarty (Joe McCarty) of Ida; her children, Bonnie Griffin of Doddridge, Daphne Lane Nierman (Asher Nierman) of Flower Mound and Jon Douglass (Denesha Douglass) of Texarkana; her stepson Kevin Dewayne Douglass (Melissa Douglass) of Red Lick; her grandchildren, Brenna Johnson, Arron, Haley Williams, Tucker Douglass, Alyssa Douglass, Elijah and Lucas Nierman; her great grandchildren, Kinley, Bryson and Sophia; and her nephew Eric Douglass. She was also cherished by "Nana" or "Grammy" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brenda's name to the Doddridge United Methodist Church or the Lone Star Dog Ranch and Rescue in Anna, Texas.
