He is survived by: his grandson Klay; his children, John (Shelba Smith), Scott Smith (Shane Carter) of Lockesburg, Mike Taylor of Watson, J. J. Taylor of Texarkana, Pam (Wendell McAnelly), Misty (Jimmy Janes) and Kelly (Kevin Helms); his sisters, Martha Kate McWhorter of Lockesburg and Doris Houser of Lockesburg; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Heather, Dalton, Josh, Alex, Lucas, Tristen, Joseph, Stacey, Kyra, Kaden, Haylee, Lexy, Emma Kate and Jackson (Taylor Smith). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
