He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim Luther and Cora Bell Killian Chandler; his wife Glenda Kesterson Chandler; his sister Thelma Dawada Cupples; and his brother-in-law Everette Cupples.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa (John Colbey); his grandchildren, Cody (Kaela Colbey), Colten (Sarah Colbey) and Cylie Colbey; his great grandchildren, Nora Faye Colbey and Adaline Rose Colbey; his niece Tammie; and his nephew Kenneth.
