She was predeceased by: her husband Elvis Dempsey; her siblings, Dub and Edith Criswell; and her granddaughter Rhonda Jo Hickerson. She is survived by: her children, Danny Dempsey (Tammy) of Dennis, TX, Betty Hickerson (Gene) of DeWitt and Karen Joslin (Rich) of Jonesboro; and her siblings, Jesse Criswell, Jr. and Audrey McKinley (Rocky). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
