She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Black and Annie Simpson Black; and her brothers, Morris Black, Warren Black, Jimmy Black, Charles Black, Marvin Lee Watson, W. H. "Buzz" Watson and Felix "Tinker" Watson.

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas "Ted" Dumond; her sons, Ralph Dumond (April) of Maumelle, AR and Mark Dumond (Julie) of Santa Fe, TN; and her grandchildren, Celeste Vanaman, Lydia Love, Jared Dumond and Susie Dumond. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
