He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cannon Freeman and Mary Ellen Murphy Freeman; his wife Mildre Sue Sheeks Freeman; and his siblings, Anna Mae Smith, Barbara Credle and William "Bill" Freeman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Childers (Larry), Carla Hynum (Bob) and Karen West (Kenny); and his grandchildren, Amy Watkins, Angie Denton, Lesley Herr, Rachel O'Connor and Josh Hynum. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and friends and family.
